94 → Spain/Belgium FST

I've slowly been falling more and more in love with these two - either as affectionate friends or lazy lovers. Both are rather warm and loving - Spain, all smiles and sun; Belgium, teasing and sweet. Though their interaction has been limited in the series (let alone Belgium actually existing as a character in canon, what), the bit they've had have been sweet and silly, and their personalities are both as warm as summer air.

This, ironically, isn't very history heavy; I tried to focus more on their general relationship, although a few songs here and there might point towards a certain timeframe or point in their lives. Really, I tried to make it as warm and sweet as they usually are, and I hope that feeling gets across. :') I suppose this could even work for a general "summer/love in the summer" FST, I dunno.

Anyway, this was yet another FST I picked at randomly for months, only to find songs when I'm not looking for them. Originally, this was a request from a quick FST meme from confictionery, and I liked both the pairing and the general mix enough to expand on it. Hopefully I did okay. Cover art comes from here on Pixiv. My bad for using fanart, but it was too perfect for what I had in mind.

Another giant thank you to confictionery, who helped me - as always - with song suggestions, encouragement, and helping me dork over two very silly characters that both of us can't seem to do anything but love. Thank you bb, this is for you. ♥

You truly did great job with this fst, this music make me feels relaxed,happy and alright - like I usually feel in summer - no stress :) I can relate this music to them :)

Hahaha, yes! Their personalities mesh together well. They seem to be the type to be very affectionate, whether it's platonic or not. And pfft, I love little Romano demanding kisses from her, it's precious. ♥

Heh, indie music is pretty much my "easy listening" - even though my favourite bands are more on the progressive rock side. :') And it really does work very nicely for him, I've noticed! Especially with almost childish lyrics and a lot of guitar involved, haha. I'm glad you like it though! A change now and again is nice.

Yep, she is affectionate and Spain is greedy for hugs and love, so it would work. Into history - people from Belgium even now doesn't like to speak about time when Spain stopped ruled them. I get a feeling they liked being with Spain (strange, how Spain can be soo sweet to Belgium and Romano and then you look into history and remember how he was acting towards Indians)
